A new report by the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID) tracks case-related trends over the 2021 fiscal year. It was noticed that the balance of women and men appointed as arbitrators, conciliators and ad hoc committees improved in FY2021. Women accounted for 31% of appointments, compared with 14% in FY2020 and 24% in FY2019.

dispute settlement. It has extensive experience in this field, having administered the majority of all international investment cases. States have agreed on ICSID as a forum for investor-State dispute settlement in most international investment treaties and in numerous investment laws and contracts.
