Ex Curia International is proud to announce its partnership in the capacity of an ‘Official Partner’ with the Asia Pacific Institute of Information Technology, Sri Lanka. ECI helped APIIT, which is based in Srilanka , conduct the first-ever negotiation competition: APIIT Law School International Negotiation Competition (ALSINC2021) from 16th to 19th September, 2021.We are proud to announce that Shreya Bansal and Harshita Seksaria from Jindal Global Law School and Dilanka Kumarasinghe, Dinal Jayamaha, Shanik Pakeer and Nanthagobalan Aaruran from Sri Lanka Law College have been awarded the Ex Curia International Spirit of the Competition Award at the APIIT Law School International Negotiation Competition(ALSINC 2021). Ex Curia International is proud to announce its partnership in the capacity of an ‘Official Partner’ with the Asian Law Students Association. ECI helped ALSA, which is based in Vietnam, conduct the AIMCC’21 from 3rd to 5th September, 2021. The AIMCC was first held in Jakarta, Indonesia in 2015. This is the 6th  time AIMCC has taken place. The ALSA International Moot Court Competition (AIMCC) is a simulated arbitration hearing of an International Investment Dispute Settlement. The theme for this year’s competition is Foreign Direct Investment Law, with an emphasis on how the host states regulate foreign investment to protect their public interest for its unique character, applicability, and increasing relevance in the developing world, not only in the field of law, but also in the fields of business and economics. We are proud to announce that Ding Jun Toh from the National University of Singapore and Galih Agra Svalerit from the Atma Jaya Catholic University of Indonesia have been awarded the Ex Curia International Best Advocate Award for the Final and Preliminary rounds respectively at the AIMCC- ALSA International Moot Court Competition. Your duties will entail commenting, formatting and proofreading pieces about Alternative Dispute Resolution topics. This job is not only a great opportunity to enrich your CV, but it will also guide you into the world of ADR and will provide you with the right connections to establish your position in the ADR career path. The editor\’s role could turn into a versatile position that turns more participative within time. Other activities such as the Candid Café or the Podcast could be a part of your schedule if you are interested in more active involvement in the Organization. You will be featured here amongst the other members of the team !  REQUIREMENTS – Great understanding and use of the English language in both written and oral form. – Great skills in utilizing \”Word\” programs – Ability to use programs like \”Mailchimp\” – Availability – Great collaboration with the members of the Team  2) Head of the Blog Division of Ex Curia International  This position is for the ones with a bit more experience in the field of reviewing blogs. You will need to be able to multitask, and coordinate a team of individuals! Your duties entail receiving pieces, choosing an appropriate editor to review them, conducting a final review, updating excel spreadsheets and keeping up with your Team. You will need to set deadlines and keep a schedule. This is an important position with a lot of responsibilities, but it is followed by a great supporting network that will guide you through everything. Your CV will thank you for this addition, your network will be proud of you and you will meet distinguished individuals from all over the planet.  REQUIREMENTS – Great command of the English language– Previous experience in reviewing pieces – Great communication skills– Utilizing and updating excel spreadsheets – Receiving and sending emails from various platforms– Multitasking – Effectiveness – Collaboration with the Team  ECI MARKETING DIVISION  The Marketing Division of Ex Curia International (ECI) is now opening up applications for 4 positions! 1. Website Team Manager: At ECI, we believe in giving each of our members the creative liberty to express themselves. As a website team manager, you would be in charge of updating the website with our content in a manner which seems best to you. To that end, we require a member who is well acquainted with handling a WordPress website. There might be some bureaucratic work involved such as scanning through the website once in  to ensure that everything is in order. However, this again would be at the manager\’s, i.e., your discretion every once in a while. (Available Positions: 1) 2. Social Media Manager: ECI has their social media accounts on Facebook, Instagram and of course, LinkedIn. Hence your work as the social media manager would be keeping our audience engaged and informed. This would involve creating posts, writing captions and responding to queries on those forums as and when they come along. Even this position would give the person all the freedom to experiment with posts that all ADR enthusiasts would enjoy. It can be related to humor, news events and informative posts. As a person interested in keeping up the daily affairs of ADR, you surely do not want to miss this opportunity! (Available Positions: 1) 3. Creative Team Members: Our creative team managers would be involved in designing posts and posters for all our collaborations and blog updates to be posted on our social media and our website. While we hate imposing requirements, applicants would have to be well versed with the basics of photoshop, Canva, or any other platform that helps create and edit posts.
